ucmdb 9 import users

Dear Forum,

Do you know how to import users from ucmdb 8 to 9? I found a very convenient way to do this with domain scope and credentials (using the jmx console), it works very well, but I cannot find any 'importusers' function on the jmx console.

Thanks,

Barna

Re: ucmdb 9 import users

I didn't try it myself so use at your own risk.

JMX console, UCMDB:service=Security Services

exportAllModel method

The export operation will create 2 folders: acl and users. Pack both folders into a .zip file and deploy the package (.zip file) to your new environment.

If you don't care much about permissions these users have in the old system, then you could probably use exportAllUsers method instead.

Re: ucmdb 9 import users

Hi Dmitry,

Thanks for the quick reply, it worked. I exported only the users, I will rebuild new kinds of ACLs. Worked fine.
