ucmdb 10.22 breaks jmx-console

For me, the 10.22 upgrade broke the jmx-console. It puts the console at port 8443. I could not find any reference to this change in documentation/release notes.

Now, I have dev and production instances, both HA with F5 load balancer, and I can't access the console. I have a workaround for production, but dev is inaccessible.

Does anyone know how to revert back (without going back to 10.21) or what changes are needed to make this work? I've just been going around and around with support, but haven't made any headway yet.

Any suggestions are appreciated!

Hi, did you found a solution to your problem? Here we have the same problem, JMX console stopped to work from outside the server when upgrading to 10.22

Thanks

Re: ucmdb 10.22 breaks jmx-console

Had to add jetty.component.mapping.jmx.console=http,https,ajp to the conf/settings.override.properties file, and had to make a change to the loadbalancer for proper redirection.

I wish HP had made this an optional feature, as this change breaks my automated processes that captures discovery job status from the probe jmx console.

we have the same issue. The bad thing is that the workaround described above doesn't work with our system:

we added

jetty.component.mapping.jmx.console=http to the conf/settings.override.properties file, but this did not help.

Should we delete some files from the jetty-chache? Does anybody know?

Re: ucmdb 10.22 breaks jmx-console

A workaround option is to access the server url (rather than the load balanced url). https://<servername.domainname.com>:8443/jmx-console/login_form.html

As for the load balancer, had to have the network team ensure that the specific ports were forwarding.

Good luck!
