uCMDB - why MS SQL Enterprise Edition?

what are the specific reasons why uCMDB requires SQL Enterprise and why Standard cannot be used?

is it because of memory, cpu, database indexes, volume of CI's???

thanks

Hi, It is because uCMDB uses "Table and index partitioning" which is not available in Standard Edition of MS SQL.
