I tried to use snmp protocol in bac8.0, "error: java.lang.Exception: Could not perform snmp connection to 192.168.10.141:161" ocurred when checking authentication.
I checked probeMgr-patternsDebug.log, but only the following message was found: <2009-11-03 17:21:48,578> [DEBUG] [Thread-49] - trying to connect to ip=192.168.10.141 by 'snmp' protocol ... <2009-11-03 17:21:48,703> [DEBUG] [Thread-49] - connection to ip=192.168.10.141 by 'snmp' protocol failed
the result of netstat command is: UDP 0.0.0.0:161 *:*
is that means than port 161 was used by another process?
Thanks for any help.
