Virtual NIC in UCMDB 9.x

Does anyone know what happened to the CI Types: Virtual CPU, Virtual Memory and Virtual NIC? I saw that SCSI Adapter now has an isVirtual attribute. I haven't been able to locate anything about these CI Types in the docs for UCMDB 9.x...

Re: Virtual NIC in UCMDB 9.x

Hi,

Where did you get the CIs Virtual CPU, Virtual Memory and Virtual NIC from?
What was the source of these CITs and objects?

AFAIK, there are no such classes OOTB.

Re: Virtual NIC in UCMDB 9.x

Alex,
These CI Types were in UCMDB 8.x but I couldn't find how they're mapped to CI Types in UCMDB 9.x...
Thank you!

Re: Virtual NIC in UCMDB 9.x

Hi,

It seems that the CI types you mentioned were created by some third-party (or maybe CORD) package, so you need to understand the source of those CI Types first and then you can either "ask this source" to provided 9.x package or try to get the 8.x package and upgrade it on your own, using the "offline package upgrade tool".

Alex
