UCMDB High Availability

Hi,

Windows 2008 R2 ; DB - Oracle ; Box1 - UCMDB - 9.01 ; Box2 - UCMDB - 9.01 ;

Box-1 & Box 2 Configured in the Windows Cluster , UCMDB to be configured in High Availability Setup.

Installed & configured the application successfully as standalone in two boxes ; for the Application Clustering, using the server management.bot configuration for the SSL , the UCMDB is not recognizing the customer If i try manually starting the same results in the failure.

As Bulleting,

does the UCMDB app requires the apps servers to be in OS Cluster? Do we need to install the application in the SAN or local harddisk?

Attaching the logs and the respective snaps.
Any valuable suggestion highly appriciable.

No.

It doesn't matter, but local drive is a more common practice.

Hi ,

Just go through the deployment guide --> High availability Section, you will find what you need.

Thanks

Re: UCMDB High Availability

thanks for the information. however does the HA confirms the session stickness as well. in detail, during the apps failover from box-1 to box-2 in the URL session, do we experience the session diconnnet? if not, is there any additional configuraiton is required other than the NLB stickiness?? please suggest.

Re: UCMDB High Availability

Session stickiness is maintained by LB and moving from active to standby server is transparent to end users, i.e. no session interruption should occur.
