UCMDB 8.03 Discovery problem

hi,

  I have UCMDB 8.03 upgraded from 8.0 using patch 23. The probe is also 8.03 and there is no prob in the connection. When i run the job "Range IPs by ICMP" the status doesn't complete at all. It remains in "in progress" status for even 2 days but never completes. The status pane below shows that few CIs are discovered but none is there in the IT Universe manager.

hi,

   the upgradation i did was wrong. The correc way to upgrade from UCMDB 8 to 8.03 is

1) upgrade 8 to 8.01 using patch 17

2) upgrade 8.01 to 8.03 using patch 23

 

this is how its done.
