Set up uCMDB discovery IP ranges for different discovery jobs

We are wanting to have different Discovery Modules scheduled to run on different IP ranges under the same Discovery Probe.

For example, set up an Exchange Discovery to run on the exchange ip range and SQL discovery running on the sql ip range.

Can you set up multiple Discovery jobs which only runs over a certain range on one probe?

We are aware we can set up different probes to set up different IP discovery ranges but wanted to know if anyone knows how to do it under the one probe.

Thanks in advance

Re: Set up uCMDB discovery IP ranges for different discovery jobs

If your jobs use different discovery protocols (NTCMD, SQL etc.) then you can set up specific IP ranges within every credential entry for those protocols.

Otherwise, I think you end up with modifying a trigger TQL for the jobs to make it work for a specific IP range only.

You can also specify the Network range directly on the credentials definition on "Manage Discovery Probes" page.

Another option is like was mentioned above to modify trigger TQLs.
