We have uCMDB 8.02 with CP5. We have created views wherein we have application server and the database server linked to an application. We have uCMDB integrated with PPM & RC and now when we select let's say application server name, then RC just shows the selected application server with its assoicated application name but it does not show up the database server name.
Can someone please guide how we can define relationship to acheive the above mentioned functionality.

What do you mean exactly. Do you have a RFC on which you selected the application server name only? And then you expect RC to show the impacted application but also the database server name? There will be correlation rules within uCMDB that determines what should be visible when. On the other hand it sounds logical that when you change the application server it is not affecting the database server. Can you give us some more details about what you want to achieve here?
We have PPM, RC & uCMDB integration in place. We select the CI in PPM, it goes to RC and RC fetches the information from uCMDB. I understand that if we deploy anything on the app server, it does not have anything to do with the database server, but I have seen quite a lot many cases where in the locks might get created in database which might bring the database down and correpondingly the application. This is the reason why we are get this functionality.
