Modeling Views and Hide CI's

Hi,

I have create a new view showing 4 CI type :

A related to B

B related to C

C related to D

what i want to do :  just hide B and C Ci's type and only show A related to D (with a "virtual" relation or anything else .....

I manage to hide B and C and only show A and D but noway to show a link between A and D (implicetly related via B and C).... how can i do that ?

thanks in advance

Re: Modeling Views and Hide CI's

There are two possible options:

1. To model A->B->C->D and then push B and C in underlaying layer.

2.  To create virtual compaund link between A->D and mark specifically A->B->C->D path in compaund link properties.

Feel free to ask additional questions.

Re: Modeling Views and Hide CI's

HI !

I have found underlaying "opportunity" ...

But when uCMDB count Ci (by grouping), it counts all the related CI's ... how can i avoid this count of "B" Ci's and "C" Ci's ? just count the number of "A" Ci's (and so theorically just 1) ????

about the Compound relation, if i understand well, i have to add

 - relation between A -> B

 - relation between B -> C

 - realtion between C -> D

ans so 3 relations in the coumpound ?

thanks in advance
