Re: Discover error

Hi there, it could be that the user name or password not have enough access to the requird tables.

Check that list:

Solution
MAM discovery patterns require the SELECT_CATALOG_ROLE privilege
Any user with the SELECT_CATALOG_ROLE privilege may be used. SYSTEM user credentials are not necessary.

The pattern requires access the following tables/views to return objects:

dba_users
dba_snapshots
dba_tablespaces
dba_db_links
dba_data_files
dba_jobs
dba_objects

v$datafile
v$recover_file
v$backup
v$controlfile
v$parameter
v$database
v$logfile
v$log
v$session

Re: Discover error

Hi
"SOURCE missing attribute: credentials_id"
means there is no credential defined for this oracle. May be you found this oracle CI with other jobs.

1. You define a credential for this oracle.
2. You should discover This Oracle CI with Oracle Connectin by SQl job.
After that credential_id gonna be OK and you can ren Oracle Topology by SQL.

Re: Discover error

Hi Lana,

I am also facing the same Problem. Have you been able to break this problem?

My user is already having Catalogue Role.

Secondaly, These instances are created by HOst resources by Shell but when I am trying to run the Job Host Connection by Oracle it is showing 2 Oracle CI's discovered successfully. But if you see the instance one of the Problematic CI is missing. I dont know what may be the cause for this?

After that Host Topology By Oracle Job is throwing the same error for Problematic CI.

Any Pointers are extremely helpful for me.

Regards,
AG
