Agent and Scanner deployment errors

Hi All,

 

I have installed DDMI 7.50 on Windows 2003 server and I did the required configuration stuff.

 

I have few device groups to scan(Desktops/Servers and Laptops).DDMI inventory server scanned only few assets and for the remaining assets I am the folllowing messages.

 

Agent Log:

 

Installing on 10.x.x.x (workgroup="") using RPC.
Using "'id\password'".
Connection to "ADMIN$" failed. Error:1909.
Connection to "IPC$" failed. Error:1909.
Unable to create file "\\10.x.x.x\ADMIN$\ovedagentinstaller.exe", error: \\10.x.x.x\ ADMIN$\ovedagentinstaller.exe (Access is denied).

Scanner Log:

 

331.log "javax.net.ssl.SSLHandshakeException: sun.security.validator.ValidatorException: PKIX path building failed: sun.security.provider.certpath.SunCertPathBuilderException: unable to find valid certification path to requested target" error error=-100
331.failure

 

The above issue is happening almost 70% of the devices in the added device groups.Please help.

Mahesh,

 

This error (1909) usually indicates that the account is locked and the system admin needs to unlock it.

 

This can happen if the account is setup so that it locks after a specified number of failed login attempts.
