I am integrating with Service-Now, a startup ticketing solution. We have external notifications working well. The question is how do we set up bi-directional acknowledgement of an alarm in OVOU? Meaning when I close the Service Now ticket opened by external notifications how do I get the alarm in Openview OVOU to close as well? Curious if any have attempted a remote close of an alarm.
First generate a unique message key while you generate the message. Then from the application that closes the ticket, you should acknowledge the message using the same message key. You might have to install the agent on the machine that has the application which closes the ticket.
