I am wondering if there is any software available for tracking disk usage on my EVA. The goal is to find out how much disk is actually being used by the DBAs. These are mostly Oracle databases with some SQL.
The only option I have right now is to get a UNIX SysAdmin (as I don't have access) and manually look at each server in question. That is time consuming and not a very good solution to my problem.
I've looked at HP Storage Essentials Performance Edition software and after reading about it, it's not clear to me whether it will yield this information.
Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Simple answer, but somewhat expensive (but filled with a slew of additional features you might be able to utilize...

Alternatively, have your UNIX admin make a script that runs weekly that sends you a report of the disk utilization across the different servers. It should take them about 5 minutes to implement. Maybe 10 minutes.
