I have installed and configured Service Request Catalog on Red Hat Linux 6.3.
However, when restarting Tomcat, it fails with the following error:
Principal: falcon_src; Credentials: [PROTECTED]; Authenticated: false; Details: org.springframework.security.authentication.AuthenticationDetails@5dae933a: Context: sm; Not granted any authorities. *Root cause*: com.hp.siberia.exception.ServiceException: Incorrect credentials
The system runs with the following software versions:HP Service Manager Server: 9.32.2004 P2
Tomcat 7 Service Request Catalog: 9.32
Encryption tool: 1.40 (HPSM_00382)
The password.txt looks as the following:
The encryption file name in the applicationContext.properties is configured like this:
sm.admin Credentials are defined like this:
In the server.xml the following lines have been added:
Does anybody have any idea what is going on here?

Have you tried installation without encryption? If not, my recommendation is that:
- first make sure that a basic installation works (you can get the system up & running) and
- after that add more advanced features like encrypted passwords etc.
Because adding stuff piece by piece on a base installation makes problem solving easier...
