some of the Todo list fields are empty, records are not being populated. is there a way by which I can link todo table with incidents or problems to fill such fields. actually I have searched for that and found that there is no link done at the first place to make the existing working fields work as they are.
so why some fields are working and some are not? and how to fix that?
Please post the existant records from the TodoMap table for the objects which are not working properly.
Use database manager for that as it was written in the previous post. For accessing database manager type db in the SM command line. In the opened window search for the TodoMap table and then check the existant records in it.
You have to check if the right named fields are mapped from your tables (probsummary,incidents ...) to the correct fields in the Todo table (actrually the fields which are set in the columns on the Todo form).
You just have to check for mistypes and probable modifications which could have changed the fields in which the data is stored.
You would not get that fields filled out for the old records unless you run mass update or something like that. Or a short script which will go trough all that records and populate that fields to the Todo table.
If you have added your fields to mapping later, the old records in the Todo are not updated automatically.
