Re: sd_dataform and wildcards

Hi,

Standard DOS wildcards (*, ?) can also be used in values, for example:
sm* will find Smith, Smythe, Smit, etc.

Why are you using %test% with a -forcenew command? Do you want to open a new call or display results?

Also what is the ecact name of the service call form you want to use?

Re: sd_dataform and wildcards

Let me give you the pretext for what Im trying to do here first :)

We want to have our first line able to auto open a new service call when they recieve a new call.

We have a call application for our 1stline which is able to provide the user internal number as a variable formatted like this: "12345"

In the person records in HPOVSD the phone number are formated like this "#12345# #0012345#"

Instead of changing the format of the data it would be nice if I could just wildcard it to find the match.

so I have tried:
sd_dataform" "Service Call - 1. line (AK)" "+Caller.Phone=%1234%" -Forcenew

That will not work.

If I enter the data directly like this:
sd_dataform" "Service Call - 1. line (AK)" "+Caller.Phone=#12345# #0012345#" -Forcenew

it works fine....

Re: sd_dataform and wildcards

Hi,

can you try it with the -listalways command instead? Does that show anything?

Re: sd_dataform and wildcards

That does not work either, and in any case I want to create a new service call record not list existing ones.

Re: sd_dataform and wildcards

Hello,

Why don't you try sd_dataform" "Service Call - 1. line (AK)" "+Caller.Phone=#?????# #???????#" -Forcenew
