replicate functionality of "CIs used by caller" action

Does anyone know how I can replicate the functionality of the "CIs used by caller" action in Service Calls?

I've got two custom fields on a Work Order form called Target Person and Target CI. I would like to have an action available for the Target CI field that would show all the CI's for which the Target Person is listed as a User.

I've tried creating a new Overview Action with a Person-to-Configuration Item condition, but I can't find any available criteria to allow a Person to be compared against a CI User.

Thanks in advance for any help or suggestions!

Re: replicate functionality of "CIs used by caller" action

Hi Jeff.

I have made something like this work, i was using the sd_dataform funktionality.

I created a button, and then hooked up an bat file calling SD_DATAFORM.

The description on how to make SD_DATAFORM perform seraches like the one you require are located from page 139 and forward in the admin guide to servicedesk.

Jess is right,

I have done the same with sd_dataform. Please read the following topic to get you started:

Good Day Jeff,

did you ever get resolution to your issue? I am trying to do a similar thing without much success.

Would you be willing to share your success/failure with this implementation?

Thanks, Jamie
