"Rights" issue when using OvObsLoadObject

Hi,

Have tested the OvObsLoadObject utility to insert ServiceCalls from a remote machine. For this reason we have created a specific account (Integration) with the role System Administrator. However the insert fails with the error message "You are not allowed to insert a ServiceCall..." in the log file.

When changing account to the "true" System Administrator things work just fine.

Can anyone shine some light on this? I guess it should be enough to create an "Integration" account for this. We are on OVSD 5.1 SP5

Mikael

Re: "Rights" issue when using OvObsLoadObject

Hello,

a good test would be to login to the SD Console with that account (Integration) and try to create a test Service Call record... see if you receive any other error that can lead you to the problem cause.

The whole point with the "Integration" type of account is that you do not have access to the graphical user interface (OV console).
