object id or guid in error logs

Hi, I am trying to debug a problem in SD5.1.
(Where the servie freezes and ovobs aborts).

THe sql team spotted some deadlocks occurring. And in the system log found lots of messages like this :
Jun 16, 2008 1:18:16 PM;11306;23;com.hp.ov.obs;SEVERE;Error
com.hp.ov.obs.ApplicationException: Object cannot be saved,because another user has changed it after you opened it. Item: 00000000-0000-0000-0000-0000218f0019. Lockhandles: {00000000-0000-0000-0209-c419bdaec6e0=1}

My first a real question is how can I find which item (Servciecall) is involved from the GUID: 00000000-0000-0000-0000-0000218f0019.

(Second question : what does the msg mean :-)

Thanks for your help

Re: object id or guid in error logs

Hello,

I have seen this deadlock issues before, and they seem to be caused by a configuration when using MSSQL, I do not have a solution for you, but I have some information that might lead you to a solution:
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/826754
and
http://www.sql-server-performance.com/tips/deadlocks_p1.aspx

Regarding that GUID, I think that you need to convert that GUID from Hex to decimal to find out the OID.
