I am running Service Desk 4.5 SP11 on an XP. This issue is inconsistent. When opening attachments there are times when the error "java.lang.StringIndexOutOfBoundsException: 3" appears. I have tried scenarios and cannnot always consistently duplicate when the error will occur. If I have only one attachment it is less likely to occur. But happens more often on .txt files than .xls files... I'm stumped because I cannot find the final solution. Is it to upgrade to a new Service Pack? To reconfigure setting somewhere within Windows? I may have submitted this issue before?
