inbound emails to servicedesk

inbound emails to servicedesk

When I send emails to my servicedesk I get a reply (this is email templates I guess). I want to just send in the Service call to the servicedesk via email, and edit the service call there if I want. Is there a way of turning off these templates?

In the Admin Console under the General Settings go to Email. In the Email section you'll find a tab for Email Commands. Find the New command and there is a check box there to tell the system if it should send an email response or not. You can also change the text in the email that is sent in the reply by changing the text in the email templates tab.
