import records with history lines date

Hello,

I want to load some records from an external system (Marval). I also want to import the existing history lines of Marval. This works but I'm not able to import the history line date for each history line. Any ideas?

Re: import records with history lines date

Hi steven,

How could you import "created by"? I have searched for it and found that "registeration modified" is the time similar to history created time.Try to link your date field with this..may be you get the jackpot.

Been there, done that.

The only way I currently found myself is loading it and afterwards changing the dates in the db. (HPR_created in 4.5)

Why changing the dates in db?

Because it is the only way I found so far. API is not possible because the date element is not availible, data exchange the same.

Are there other solutions?

Re: import records with history lines date

In 4.5 you could use a migration account that would allow you to preserve/add dates on importing via data exchange. You need to created an account with the name "migration". Dont know if you can do this in 5.0
//Add this to "OnDomLoad" event
