Is this waht you are after - Which is made available in Service Desk 4.5 SP19

A new system action has been introduced called "Commit" which allows the user to
save the current form as result of a UI rule. To fully support the new feature,
actions of a UI rule now have an explicit execution order.

Whereas we understand the use case, we cannot provide an intermediate guideline
by when we will be able to implement this.

We will notify you by e-mail once our review of candidates for the release
after Service Desk 5.0 starts.

Hi,

I had the same problem, I wanted to ensure the data on the form was commited to the database at a certain point before allowing the user to continue filling in the form.

To do this I distributed a very small file to every PC that runs the HPOV client.

The content of this .vbs file is:

set WshShell = WScript.CreateObject("WScript.Shell")

WScript.Sleep(500)
WshShell.SendKeys("%s")

The file is then called from a Command Exe Action, within a UI rule.

It has the effect of Save+Close, as if the user had clicked on Save+Close.

ok it is a fantastic idea
but my case is the opposite
i inserted a data by (sd_event)while a user i opening the form i need to update the form so he can see the updated data automatically without making refresh

Hi,

I don't think that's a possibility. The only way a client can update the form is by refreshing the data from the database.
