how to add additional fields in Email sent by Service Desk

hi,


i want to add additional Fields in Email which is sent by Sevice .inroder to make it more helpful for other.

kindly guide how can i do this.

Hi there,

Which version and service pack are you using?

From SP17 of 4.5 if you go to Tools>System>System Panel>Email Settings>Email templates you can add more fields to any email from HPSD.

In version 5, this facility is not available and it would depend on which email message you want to modify as to whether you would could use a DB rule instead.

hi,

thanks for reply.i am using Service Desk 4.5 with SP17.i have seen the Email Templates as you have guided me.is it possible that i can create a EMail template my self as my required Email Template is not there.Only mofidy option is availble there.

Hi there,

Can you say which email message you are trying to set up? If it is not one of the ones in email templates, you will need to use a DB rule.

If you need more help just ask - but it is usual to give points if someone takes the trouble to try and help you.
