how can i find out the object ID of an object in hp openview servicedesk 5.0?

how can i find out the object ID of an object in hp openview servicedesk 5.0? what is object id? is it possible to open an existing Ci from command prompt? i'm able to open a new ci form from command prompt. as per admin guide the command to find object id is:

ovconsolecmd -find -objectIds=workgroup (workgroup or CI)

but no result.

Re: how can i find out the object ID of an object in hp openview servicedesk 5.0?

-showform -itemName=ConfigurationItem -objectIds=[OID] -formName=CI-Service(App)

or

If there is javaw.exe in ovconsolecmd.bat file, try by changing java.exe instead of javaw.exe in the batch file.

rgds.
