Hello, Friends!

I have a question for you:

When do I create a Define Views within Service Desk, this view just appears only user,ok?

Is it possible to copy and transfer to another PC or another user .

Hello,

Service desk-> Define views allows you to create,copy,delete and select a particular view as default view and reset the view.

You can copy the view and customize different views for users depending on their roles and privileges.

I have done my own more Views , now you change the PC to the new PC , I want to copy your all Views from old PC to the new PC .

Hi abumalak,

What do you means by copy and transfer to another PC.Since views are not specific to PC/machines they are define and stored at server side and just executed on client side.


To copy view form one user to another go to
db>inbox(filename)>select inbox.view format>search for the view to edit
Now here you can change the audience and owner of the group and click on "ADD" (to copy) and to just transfer form one user to other click on "SAVE".

Hi,

You could try copying the file named VIEWS.dat from PC1 to PC2, make sure to backup existing VIEWS:dat in PC2 in case yu need to rollback, as this will overwrite existing views.
