Another 5.1 issue we are having is the regular crashing of the Web Portal. When you log in it gives a null pointer exception error and you can go no further. The work around we have is to stop the web services (ovc –stop ovtomcatA and ovc –stop ovapacheA) and delete the web cache on the server. It will then run for a couple of days and then crash again.
HP Support have our log files and, to date, have no answer. Has anyone else dealt with this problem and how did you resolve it?
