It is not possible to attach or to save files. There is a mistake - An error with the ModuleControl action occurred/Please contact your portal administrator. Anybody faced a similar problem?
From the usual client (by the same machine) all attach/save file normally.

Re: Web console attach problem

is the application server on same machine or a different one?

I have seen this error before, but can't remember if I solved it or not...

Re: Web console attach problem

Hi Denis,

Check the FTP log for any errors about the connection.

The webconsole client saves the file through the webconsole server, not like the regular client which contacts the ftp server directly.

Re: Web console attach problem

Hi,

I have the same problem. Attaching a file and deleting it is possible (ftp works fine). However, opening an attachement results in the error "error with ModuleControl action occured". From the logging I learned the following error:
File does not exist: D:/Program Files/HP OpenView/nonOV/apache/htdocs/_vti_bin
File does not exist: D:/Program Files/HP OpenView/nonOV/apache/htdocs/MSOffice
I don't have a solution yet.

Re: Web console attach problem

Hi Alexander,

You probably have a \ in your username field like domain\username, change this into a lokal username and it will work.

Re: Web console attach problem

Hi
Can you please let me know exactly which file needs modification to resolve this problem and how to locate it. We are also suffering the same problem.

Many thanks

Re: Web console attach problem

We have exactly the same problem. Have tried a number of solutions with no success as yet.

Currently moving the web console to be on the same machine as the FTP and app server to see if it works there.

Any suggestions would be great

Cheers
Tom
