Web console: CI by Category view not available

When I try to select a CI in a Service Call record within the Web console (SD 4.5 SP 17) by pushing the little selection widget, the only views I get are

Configuration Item (table)
Configuration Item Structure (tree)

I'd like to have "CI by Category", but even though this view is associated to my role, it doesn't show up. And the second of the two listed above does not show any kind of hierarchy, AFAICT (in spite of its name).

I know that explorer/tree views are possible in the web console, because I see them used elsewhere.

Anyone know how I can get my "CI by Category" view to appear in the web console?

Thanks,
Dave

How role have you in ServiceDesk?
I have an admin role an I see "CI by Category"view in the web console.
You try to check your role,or contact your SD admin.

Re: Web console: CI by Category view not available

Thanks for the response... I don't have this view when I login as system administrator, or when I login as a normal user who has a role which includes the view. Of course, the view is available for both when using the Java client.
