WEB API info

Does anyone have any well documented web api info? (info for a newbie in other words :)

How new is the "newbie" in this case? :)

If the person in question has some Java skills already, then there are the example programs on the install cd under '/api/examples'. Those will walk you through some basic examples and should help.

The javadoc of available methods and classes is available as a .zip file under the "/docs" directory on the CD as "web_api_javadocs.zip".

If you need something for someone who doesn't know Java already... well, I'd start with some Java training or else the API won't make much sense.

That's all the docs I know of, so hopefully it's useful!

haha, yeah Chris, I'm the newbie! w/ no java exp whatsoever... wee-fun.

Thanks for the guidance, I'll look at this stuff and then I'll look some more, then I'll look at java and hopefully figure it out... hopefully ;)
