WBEM ODBC Driver for OVO Nodes

Hello,

As far as i have read WBEM has not been supported by Windows 2003 computers. On the other hand CI integration is achived by using Wbem ODBC driver from Servicedesk. Is there any way to install Wbem on XP or 2003 or any workarround?

Thanks,
UPS

Re: WBEM ODBC Driver for OVO Nodes

There is a new version of the OVO integration that does not require the WBEM driver. It can be downloaded as a patch.

Re: WBEM ODBC Driver for OVO Nodes

The bit you need is "ovsdsync". It is part of recent (>SP11?) Service Packs. If you expand the SP package or open it with winzip, look for itsm006849 in the /doc directory. There is documentation on how to run it plus the executables and import mappings, though there was a problem with the mapping in SP16.

Re: WBEM ODBC Driver for OVO Nodes

If you find the tool ovsdsync.exe, and related .ini files with them which are also for importing services as CI and Services seperately...
And If you already know how to use them...

You have no problem managing those processes...

I can also mail them to u if you want

Thanks
