VPO Integration: hpovsdagent port

Hi All!

When conntecting back to the VPO server (i.e. to close calls), what port does the service desk use? I know that from the VPO server to the Service Desk server port 30980 is used, but I cannot find what port is used in the other direction.

Re: VPO Integration: hpovsdagent port

sd_event on the OVO server uses http port 30980 to create the event on the sd app-server.

The sd agent running on the OVO server uses UDP multicast on port 50998 to talk to the sd app-server and ITP on port 50998 from sd app-server to sd agent.

Hi Arthur!

I knew about port 30980, but I though the 50998 was just to for the SD agent on a PC. However, it makes does make sense to use the same port all the time.
