Using Outlook Smart Action to email a link

We are using SD 4.5, SP17 and I'm trying to use a smart action to resend the approval link, but for some reason it's not passing anything in the link past the .asp. So for example, my smart action parameter says:

/c ipm.note /m "[Requestor;E-mail]&subject=Your Approval is needed for Change: {ID]&body=Description: [Description]
To vote via Service Pages, use the following URL:
http://server.company.com:8080/sd-sp45/Approval.jsp?vChange=[OID]"

But when you pull it up in email, the body says:

Description: Change escalation process for unaccepted tickets
To vote via Service Pages, use the following URL:
http://server.company.com:8080/sd-sp45/Approval.jsp

See how the "?vChange=[OID]" part is missing? Obviously, we need that to complete the URL for the specified approval voting.

Can anyone shed some light on what I need to do to get the full link to show up in the email??

Thanks,
Colleen

Re: Using Outlook Smart Action to email a link

I managed to get the ?vChange= part to show up, but instead of actually displaying the Object ID, it just says [OID].

So here's the new parameter:
/c ipm.note /m "[Requestor;E-mail]&subject=Your Approval is needed for Change: [ID]&body=Description: [Description]
To vote via Service Pages, use the following URL:
http://server.company.com:8080/sd-sp45/Approval.jsp%3fvChange=[OID]"

I had to replace the ? with %3f and that worked, but here is the resulting link...

http://server.company.com:8080/sd-sp45/Approval.jsp?vChange=[OID]

The other variables, like ID and Description show up fine but not the OID. If you've done approvals via the Service Pages, you know it requires the Object ID in the link and not just the ticket ID. Any thoughts on this part?

Thanks,
Colleen
