User unable to customize a view

Hi,

My company, Vocalink, use Service Desk 4.5 sp23.

I have a user who has created a personal view. The user then decided to adapt the view by adding an additional field. He can add the field by when he clicks Ok it disappears. No matter I've tried to do I've been completely unable to replicate the issue. Has anyone encountered a simlar siuation?

Hi John,

I never met this situation but if I was you I would export all the users view (to have a back up), and delete his client cache. Di d you already try this ?

I had thought of that but hoped to do it as a last resort

I can understand that,

by the way does his client advanced option "Purge cache on exit" selected ? Sometimes it's enough for display problems.

Hi John,

If he makes a copy (duplicate) of the view, does it work on the copy?

This might be a simple work round.

Ruth I have suggested this to the user and am currently waiting on a response. Do you have an idea why this may have happened?

Manu, I have also commuicated purging the cache on exit to see if this breaks the cycle
