Urgent!! : Inbound Mail Issue

Hi Friends,

I am sending my mail server & SD server details. Now pleaes let me know the settings.

1.Mail Server: nms.prognag.org
Id on mail servr: servicedesk@nms.prognag.org

2. Sd Server: progrmcsnptest2.progrmc.com
Sd Server Host: progrmcsnptest2
Domain : progrmc.com

I have done all relaying settings on email server also.

Please find my settings for Outbound & Inbound mails with the enclosed attachment.

Now please let me know the settings which I have to done for my inbound emails.
Please Help me out in this....

Well I want to configure the Service call logging feature by the inbound mails....

But i m not able to proceed while I have tried all the possible settings. My SD server settings & Mail server settings are given in my first post.....

Kindly help me out in to this.....

Hi
For email logging need turn on "Email debug", what you already done, and restart the server. This is all what you can doing with logging. If you like receive any emails about errors in email process, set personal email to "Email address for Logging responding wrong messages".

If you done it and restart the SD server and no error in log, but problem with email is present, then problem out from SD: firewall, external mail server, dns(no MX records) -> look in their logs.

Settings seems to be ok from my side also...
I think settings problem from mail server side.......

I am using Q(Send) mail SERVER as my mail server.

Now pleaes let me know the settings you did on your mails serve.....Please let me know the steps you followed???

Sorry, I can't show you my mail server - this is corparate Exchange :), so easy way to check: run on SD server Outlook express, configure Outlook sent by localhost 25(if you have a different port then set your), create the mail, in to set your registred in SD incoming mail address, example: helpdesk@my.sd.ip. Set subject and body, sent. The mail must registred if all correct or will be error in log.

I am not asking to show the mail server settings.... I need to know the steps only which have to be follow for this exsercise....

1. registry in dns server MX records for your SD server name.
2. create mail box on corparate mail server and redirect(forward rule) all emails to SD mail address.
3. test.

You set search the customer by e-mail(Email->Email command->New->Access level), before then create the SC. Create the Person with sender's e-mail address or select another access level.

If you real set "Unavailable" - then you turn off command New, select first or second.

I have set the Unrestricted(No check on Email Addresses)

But still getting same messages...

You try sent mail to @nms.prognag.org, but your e-mail server does not know anythig about this domain.
Ordinary this is dns problem.

I think Mail sending is another issue.
While i am not able to log the service calls by incoming mails also...
