Uploading relations between CI's

Can anyone help me with following issue please?

I have a spreadsheet in which relations between existing CI's are sorted out. Also, those relations are already known in ServiceDesk.
I'm not able to import them in ServiceDesk 4.5 SP17. During data exchange i receive the following errors "Processing Xml file utpextra.xml_1.xml
Reading data from XML file written at 25/01/2007 from UTP
Finished reading Xml file at 25/01/07 13:32
Loading data from streams produced by previous step

Following problems encountered while loading entities:
======================================================
Processing RELATION (id = 1)
com/hp/ifc/wf/AppEntitySet

while processing attribute CIREL
com/hp/ifc/wf/AppEntitySet

while processing attribute CITO
While processing RELATION (id = 1):
There are no changes to save.
Processing RELATION (id = 2)
com/hp/ifc/wf/AppEntitySet

while processing attribute CIREL
com/hp/ifc/wf/AppEntitySet

while processing attribute CITO
While processing RELATION (id = 2):
There are no changes to save."

Anyone any idea what goes wrong and how to fix this?
Thanks

Re: Uploading relations between CI's

Hi
Relation between 2 CIs possible doing in import time if CI already exist. So if you use searchcode as uniq, then you can use this field for relation. use map "CI Relation" and mark "to" and "from" as unique
From excel enought get 2 fields to xml file.

Re: Uploading relations between CI's

Hi All,

I have a similar problem.
I need to import in the tab called Related CIs of a Configuration Items the software installed on a machine (fig1) from a excel file.
The problem is that i don't know how to use the following field

- Related CIs; CI to
- Related CIs; CI relation
- Related CIs; CI from

CI Relation: should be "installed software"
CI from: should be the searchcode
CI to: should be the map of a column of excel (SOFTWARE)

is correct?

I get the follow error:
warning: com/hp/ifc/wf/AppEntitySet

while processing attribute SOFTWARE

Thank you in advance

bye
