Update<id> Command: how to prove that the sender is Assignee

Hello,

I am trying to update a service call using Update command. (OVSD 4.5 SP20)

Update command options are:
Only existing persons
Person must be Assignee

Service call assignee is a Person with:
Name=User, Test
Searchcode=TESTUSER
E-mail=email@domain.com; email1@domain1.com

When I am trying to send an UPDATE from email@domain.com, I receive:
No Person found for your E-mail address: TESTUSER

Of course, the e-mail address is not the same, but is it possible to prove that sender is Assignee using NAME.

Administration guide says:
Person must be Assignee: the NAME or e-mail address of the person who wants to update a service call must be the person that the service call is currently assigned to.

Thanks in advance

Re: Update<id> Command: how to prove that the sender is Assignee

It uses the email address to match. The email that you have in your example will not work for incoming as it will be email@domain.com or email1@domain1.com not both. It makes an exact match. I think that in version 5.1 it allows for multiple email addresses but I would not upgrade just for that. I think that the admin guide is slightly wrong.
