Unable to login thru Client

Hi Everbody,

We are unable to login to SD server thru Client (V4.5) But service pages are working.

The error is as below:

"Unable to connect to host: on port:30999
Nested exception is: Connection refused"

We have cleared the cache files in the client PCs and checked. Can anyone pls help me?

May be firewall blocks your client connection? Also you can check DNS resolution

OVSD server service may not be running on port 30999. Check the port number on which the service is running. You can verify it through the SSE (Start --Programs --> hp Openview service desk 4.5 --> server --> server settings editor).

You can also check for port connectivity by running, telnet 30999.
