Unable to connect on host 30999 error on service pages

Hi All,

I have installed servicedesk server on one machine and service pages on another machine. i have stated services on both servers. am able to access server from windows client successfully. when i try to access service pages am getting an error "unable to connect host: sdeserver on port 30999" on servive pages after login.

That's probably because your Service Pages server is unable to resolve "sdserver" to IP address... Try providing full hostname or IP address in Service Pages configuration file..

Did you upgrade the service pages installation to be on the same service pack as the appserver?
