UI Rule to copy CI Category to SC Classification

Is there a way to use one or two general UI rules to populate the SC Classification (code)field with the value from CI Category (code)field. Our SC Classification code list is the same as CI Category code list.
We are using SD4.5 SP22.

Re: UI Rule to copy CI Category to SC Classification

Hello Eric,

While you cannot copy CI category to SC classification, you can use generic relations to limit SC classification based on CI category. Create a generic relation between CI Category and SC classification, then a UI rule that when a service call is modified and CI Category is anything (Evaluate this rule when this field has been changed) and as action "Limit range by relations"

Thanks a lot George.
Your suggestion work great.

When a value has changed
where NOT (Config Item (*) is empty)
Classification = Config Item;Category -> CI Category to SC Classification
//Add this to "OnDomLoad" event
