Two (supposedly) identical instances producing different results
I have a change form in a development instance of Service Desk and a change form in our production instance which should be identical but they are giving me different results. In development, when a new change is opened it always appears with 'Registered' in the status field, as it should. However, in the production version the status field in a new change is blank. In both instances, status is a required field. The rules for each instance are identical. Does anyone have an idea why this is happening? It might be obvious but I cannot find the discrepancy in the two instances.
