System Application Accounts

I'm gong through the application accounts which are setup by default when Service Desk 4.5 is installed.

Please can somebody tell me what these are for and can I safely delete them?

ITO account for integration with ITO5.3
ManageX version 4 events
NNM version 6 events
NNM version 6 import
Radia import
SMS version 2 import

Hello Peter,

My guess is that these accounts are used for integration/data exchange between Service Desk and other OV applications. If they are named/concurent I think that is safe to convert it to "intergration accounts". If they are already defined as integration accounts and you are sure that they are not used you can remove them.

Note that if they are defined as integration accounts using you cannot use these login names to login in service desk, so they don't take any precious licenses.

And something else... if either one has produced something in service desk, you won't be able to delete it without deleting the related items, within service desk.

You will have to modify the related item directly in the DB.

Just to add to George's points, if they do have references you can always block them rather than delete.
