Sp4.5 - SP24... anyone??

Hello to all,

I thought I read someone mention SP24 for SD4.5. If it exists, I am trying to find documentation as to what it does and how to go about getting it. Can anyone help me out?

thanks.

Hi,

I am planning an upgrade to a test system over the weekend to SP24. I wont know until then.

Have you run this into a test environment yet?

Re: Sp4.5 - SP24... anyone??

I have downloaded the patch and intend to apply it to my test environment first. I am a fan of the approach, but sometimes I wonder about certain issues SD4.5 has...Like a DB rule that sometimes works...
thanks for the input.

Re: Sp4.5 - SP24... anyone??

We just detected a critical error in our SP24 testing. The "on or before" and "on or after" conditions comparing one date to another date field are not working properly anymore.

One of the fields is being converted to GMT, and the other is being left as the user's local time before the comparison is done. This is impacting both UI rules and DB rules.

Of course, this won't impact you if all your users are at GMT.

Yeah,

That's the kind of stuff I mean. I don't have time to do unit testing on this, but I may have to. Thanks for the input.

Hi Rob (or anyone!),

We've come across the same issue with SP24 breaking business logic for "on or before" rules. You mentioned that it was caused by one field using GMT and the other using the local timezone. How did you find that out and did you find a way around this problem?

Cheers,
Kev

All Sorted - A hotfix from HP rectifies the issue. It's part of SP25.

Cheers,
Kev.
