Servicedesk Timestamp issue

Hi,

We have installed HP OVSD 4.5 (SP16) on Windows 2000 server. When we log a call using the GUI client, in the service call page in the 'Registered' field, it displays an incorrect timestamp.i.e.it doesn't pick the current date/time of server. Normally, it should pick the server time as the timestamp. One thing to note here is that in the web interface, it picks up the correct server date/time. What could be the issue??

Regards,
Gaurav

Re: Servicedesk Timestamp issue

Change the timezone setting on your SD client. It has to correspond with the timezone specified in the admin console / regional setting / timezone / primary timezone

Re: Servicedesk Timestamp issue

What do u mean by SD Client timezone. Where is that located? We have set the Primary Timezone in the Admin Console to UCT + 5:30 (IST).

Re: Servicedesk Timestamp issue

Thanks. Synchronising the time zones in the SD Client and the Admin Console fixed the issue.
