Re: Servicedesk 4.5 SP23

Hi

This is the minimum service pack to support it. To actually do this you should be able to take a copy of your data and log files and then reattach them to the SQL 2005 instance. Check with the Microsoft documentation for more information about doing this. Ensure that your rep_sessions and rep_servers table is empty of data before you do this as well or you may experience problems when reconnecting your app server.

Re: Servicedesk 4.5 SP23

hi there,

All service packs contain a folder called doc which is available once you have expanded the SP; in doc, there is a file called Readme.htm and for SQL server this says:

************************************
SQL Server 2005 is officially supported as underlying database since Service Desk 4.5 service pack 19.

Important: For support SQL Server 2005, JDBC Driver should be upgraded manually

Remove \lib\Opta2000.jar

Copy \doc\itsm008421\Opta.jar to \lib\ directory.
*******************************

Hope this helps, Ruth
