Al kind of SPAM (bij mail) is currently being sent to our helpdesk. With a server side exchange rule about 95% is SPAM (Viagra, collegebooks, etc.). The 'fake' domain is just people who use our company's domain name (in unix sent-mail you can give any FROM name you want). So we can't filter spam on domain name.
Is there a possibility to only accept mail from persons registered in de person module within ServiceDesk ?
1) Set up a new internal email address eg. companyemaildomain.servicedesk make sure your mail excahnge has an entry for the mail address and has a record to route mail directly to the OVSD server that will process the mail
2)Admin Console-System Panel-EMail-Email Commands Choose a command e.g. new and in there you can specify if you can only receive request from people via the acces level. Provided you have an import of your people in OVSD you could try the option for "Only existing persons"
