Service Pages - More than two view filters

Hi,

I am customising a Service Page and would like to know if it is possible to apply more than two filters (Full and Restricted) to the page.

The mainmenu.jsp file links to the SP_ListScRestrictedList and SP_ListScFullList selections from the Service Call view settings section in the Admin console. I wondered if it is possible to code the link directly to the views instead of the views selected in views settings.

I am currently using SD 4.5 SP20, can anyone please shed some light.

Thankyou

Re: Service Pages - More than two view filters

Basically I have four views within View settings for Service Calls. I have more views, however, within the SP Views section.

What I need to do is create a separate link for just one instance of Service Pages (Without affecting all instances) to filter for the client 'folder'.

Could you please advise of an example code I could potentially put into the mainmenu.jsp.

Thanks again

Re: Service Pages - More than two view filters

The following code will give you idea to do it..
In my case i have used Restricted Filter
to provide 4 links in MainMenu.jsp.
This will bring all the Service calls for the loggedin user and i modified my differnet ListServiceCall.jsp to suite my Requirement.
I have attached my MainMenu.jsp for your reference.
Hope this helps

 <%= bean.findLabel("SP_ListScRestrictedList") %>

 <%= bean.findLabel("ServicecallText9") %>

 <%= bean.findLabel("ServicecallText3") %>

 <%= bean.findLabel("ServicecallText4") %>

 <%= bean.findLabel("ServicecallText5") %>

Re: Service Pages - More than two view filters

Hi,

I have finally created my test environment but I would like to get a better idea of the changes required for the ListServiceCall.jsp file.

Could I see an example of a modified ListServiceCall.jsp file please.

Thank you in advance

Re: Service Pages - More than two view filters

Thats excellent. I created the new ServiceCallList.jsp file and create the condition within this file. But it seems to only apply the condition (For example you had the conditions for status and service) to the filter set within the view settings options within the service desk gui.

Is there a way to specify one the unused views to apply the condtions to?

By the way, I have to thank you for getting me this far, the examples have been great...

Re: Service Pages - More than two view filters

Hi,
You can play around with ONLY 2 Views ie. Restricted and Full list.
The filter in the ListServicecall.jsp is applicable for Client side.
Hope this helps

Re: Service Pages - More than two view filters

Yeah,

I thought this would be restricted to just those views.

Thanks heaps for your help on this.
