Service Pack Upgrade Using URL Hyperlink

I am trying to upgrade HPSD from SP11 to SP17 using the "URL of Latest Software Version" hyperlink function in the Admin > General Settings window. I've got the DB, the Application Server and the Server client upgraded via the CD-ROM to problem. Now I'm trying to upgrade the user client machines. I've followed the instructions in the HPSD Installation Guide (Chapter 11 - page 239/240), but what do I put in the text box? The Instructions mention an ".exe file". What .exe file?

Thanks for any assistance.

Hello Jerry,

You should put the URL of the file containing the SP at the text box.

Re: Service Pack Upgrade Using URL Hyperlink

Jerry,

Just occured to me. If your previous SP is SP11 you could enable on server setting the ability for clients to auto-upgrade to SP17.

Just go to
Admin Console/General Settings the the "Remote Updater" tab. There have "Service Pack" enabled and the clients will receive the SP after loging in.
