Service Desk SP20 - Any release dates?

I've heard to stay away from upgrading to Service Desk SP19 and stop at SP18 because of the bugs.

Does anyone know when or roughly when Service Desk SP20 (for Windows) is due for release?

Thanks,

Re: Service Desk SP20 - Any release dates?

Hello Michael,

Though I don't have a date, if HP follows the usual 2 month release cycle, the SP20 should be released by the end of the month.

SP19 is not that bad :) We use it (though we got a hotfix from HP because SP19 had trouble in multi-NIC machines).

In any case, even if SP20 appears to be perfect make sure to have many tests before promote it to production.

Wow!

That looks quite impressing considering that contains several bux fixes.

Let's hope that *this* version will be upgradable to SD v5.2 !

Re: Service Desk SP20 - Any release dates?

Thank you all very much as this has answered my questions.

We are going to stick to Service Desk 4.5 and will make one major leap into the converged HP-Peregrine product Service Manager 7 if they can deliver by the end of 2007.
